Save the Date -  All too often, mis-communications can occur between people of different cultures that can have devastating consequences in inter-personal, business and other professional relationships. With the growing number of Americans now residing along the Baja California peninsula and/or getting involved with Mexican nonprofits either as donors, board members or volunteers, the need for improved cross-cultural understanding is critical to prevent mis-communications and unintended faux-pauses.
 In order to advance our collective understanding of cross-cultural communications issues in a U.S.-Mexico context, you are invited to a unique ½ day workshop on US-Mexico cross-cultural communications which will be led by Mary Ellen Colon, an intercultural communications expert on Friday, March 26th from 9am to 1:30 pm at our foundation’s headquarters at 2525 N Avenue, National City. Ca. 91950. Lunch will be included. The cost of the workshop and lunch is $75.00. Payment may be made below or by check to the International Community Foundation, 2525 N Avenue, National City, Ca. 91950. Registration for this workshop is limited to 30 people and confirmations will be on a first come, first serve basis. |
